Instructions to make to make Wheat Naan
- Mix water, milk curd. Stir in the sugar in the above mixture.
- Seive the wheat flour, baking soda,baking powder and salt.
- Mix the flour with curd and milk mixture what we made first. Make a soft dough, if the dough looks dry add some water. Dough should be smooth and soft.
- Cover with wet cloth and keep it a side for 10 minutes.After 10 minutes add oil and knead dough again.
- Cover with the same wet cloth and keep it for 2 hours till dough leaves and rise.
- Make a small size ball, roll it in circle, sprinkle some onion seeds/ chopped coriander leaves on it again roll it again.
- On another tava place the naan, partly cook both the sides of naan.
- Then place the naan on heat with the help of tongs. Cook the both sides till they get browned and charred. Then remove it from heat and apply ghee or butter on it and serve hot with any Punjabi curry.
